  • Yes, Absolutely, I treat both men and women and tailor every treatment to suit your individual skin and hair concerns, regardless of gender.

  • Yes Yes Yes – a consultation is always required before treatment, and it's completely free. This gives me the chance to properly assess your skin or scalp, chat through your concerns and goals, answer all of your questions, and make sure the treatment is right for you.

  • I’m a fully qualified nurse with over 8 years of experience, having worked in acute hospital settings before moving into the aesthetics and hair restoration space. I have specialist training in SkinPen microneedling, PRP treatments and venipuncture, so safety and best practice are always at the heart of everything I do.

More recently, I've spent time working in a leading hair treatment clinic in Dublin, gaining hands- on experience treating patients with hair thinning and hair loss using PRP. This has been invaluable in shaping how I assess, treat and support my own clients.

Alongside my clinical experience, I’ve also spent a lot of time travelling and working internationally over the years, including time in Japan, Asia and across Europe.

  • You can get in touch via my website or social media, and I’ll get you booked in for a consultation, either in person or over the phone, whichever you prefer. This gives us a chance to chat through your concerns and make sure you’re booked into the right treatment for you - I look forward to welcoming you to my clinic in Co.Waterford!

  • The clinic is conveniently located in Dungarvan, Inside Murrays Careplus Pharmacy, with parking available closeby.

  • I completely understand that life happens. I just ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. For late cancellations or no shows, the €50 booking deposit will be retained.

Microneedling

  • SkinPen is a medical-grade, FDA-approved microneedling device that safely stimulates your skin’s natural healing response. It creates tiny micro-channels in the skin to boost collagen and elastin production.

What makes SkinPen stand out is its precision, consistency, and safety - it’s actually the safest microneedling device on the market and is even used in the NHS. This means it’s trusted by medical professionals for results you can rely on. Compared to other microneedling devices, SkinPen is engineered to give predictable, controlled treatments every time, making it suitable for all skin types.

  • Microneedling encourages your skin to repair and renew itself from within. This leads to smoother texture, brighter skin, improved firmness, and an overall healthier appearance. It’s all about enhancing what your skin can naturally do - which I think is pretty cool!

    • Acne scars

    • Fine lines and wrinkles

    • Pigmentation and sun damage

    • Enlarged pores

    • Uneven skin texture

    • Dull or tired-looking skin

  • Most clients find the treatment very manageable. I apply a numbing cream beforehand to keep you comfortable. You may feel some pressure or a light scratching sensation, but generally my clients find it a relaxing treatment to have - even comparing it to being at the spa!

  • Your appointment usually takes 60-80 minutes, including numbing time and a quick chat beforehand.  Microneedling itself is quite quick.

  • This depends on your skin and your specific concerns. Generally, I recommend 3-6 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart, for best results. That said, even one microneedling treatment can provide noticeable benefits, so you'll still see improvements from a single treatment.

  • You can expect:

    • Redness for up to 24 hours

    • Dry or flakey skin for 2-4 days

You can return to your usual skincare routine after 24 hours, which makes this a very easy treatment to fit into busy schedules.

  • Many clients notice a healthy glow within the first week. Over the following weeks, as collagen production increases, you'll see improvements in skin texture, tone and firmness. Results continue to build with each treatment, which is why courses work so well.

  • Yes – SkinPen microneedling is safe for all skin types. Your consultation allows me to tailor the treatment specifically to your skin.

  • Before treatment, I’ll advise you on any skincare products that need to be paused.

    After treatment, you’ll need to:

    • Avoid makeup/skincare products and sauna use for 24 hours

    • Keep the skin clean and well hydrated

    • Avoid direct sun exposure and wear SPF (after 24 hours)

You'll receive full aftercare guidance so you feel confident and supported.

  • Yes, but timing is important. You should avoid having any other aesthetic treatments two weeks before and after your microneedling treatment.

PRP

  • PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a natural treatment that uses your own blood to help stimulate hair follicles and support hair growth. It’s a great option for clients experiencing hair thinning or early hair loss.

  • PRP contains powerful growth factors that help strengthen existing hair, improve hair density, and stimulate dormant follicles. Over time, this can lead to healthier, thicker-looking hair.

  • PRP works best for people experiencing early to moderate hair thinning, but it's not suitable for everyone. Whether PRP is the right option depends on the cause of your hair thinning and the type of hair loss you're experiencing, which is why a consultation is so important. During your consultation, I’ll assess your scalp, discuss your hair goals and recommend the most effective approach for you.

  • I recommend an initial course of 3 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. To maintain results, a maintenance treatment every 6-9 months is advised.

  • Most clients describe the treatment as uncomfortable rather than painful. It’s a quick procedure, and I always aim to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

  • Hair growth takes time, so results are gradual. Many clients notice reduced shedding first, followed by improvements in thickness and regrowth over 3-6 months, with continued improvement beyond that.

  • PRP isn't a one-off treatment. Maintenancy sessions are important to maintain and support your results, which is why top-ups every 6-9 months are recommended.

  • Because PRP uses your own blood, the risk of reaction is very low. You may experience mind tenderness or redness on the scalp, which usually settles within a few hours.

  • Yes - PRP can often be combined with other hair-loss treatments or strategies. This is something I'll discuss with you during your consultation to ensure the best possible outcome.
